The chosen candidate/s will be required to manage and review a number of portfolios or mutual funds, identify investment opportunities to maximise the investment performance in line with the risk profile and assist in devising the overall investment strategy in line with the respective mandate.
The selected applicant/s will be required to:Manage and review a number of investment portfolios and mutual funds in line with the investment objectives and restrictions of the respective mandate;Identify investment opportunities and mitigate risks in order to maximise investment returns;Contribute towards the generation of investment ideas, buy/sell decisions, portfolio construction, portfolio monitoring and portfolio risk management and ensuring that these are in line with the investment objectives and the applicable investment strategy;Maintain tools intended to monitor fund / portfolio activity and performance contribution;Keep abreast with market, economic and company specific developments impacting the respective portfolios;Implement the investment strategy within portfolios and mutual funds and actively contribute to the determination of the tactical asset allocation of each respective mandate in a coordinated and consistent manner.
Interested applicants must:Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Investment Management area;Possess a Portfolio Management licence or have fully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst qualification or an academic qualification recognised or acceptable by MFSA to grant a Portfolio Management licence.
The Bank will deploy the selected applicant/s in any one of the areas in order to ensure the smooth running of the business.
